A Columbia University student and pro-Palestinian activist, Mohsen Mahdawi, has been ordered not to be deported by a US judge in Vermont. Mahdawi, who was born and raised in a refugee camp in the West Bank, was arrested upon arriving for an interview for his US citizenship petition. The judge ordered President Trump and other officials not to remove him from the US or take him out of Vermont.
