He was briefly the rightful owner of one of the internet's most valuable domains, highlighting a security failure within Google's internal system. Google's security team recognized the vulnerability and rewarded the ex-employee with $12,012.26 for disclosing the weakness. The ex-employee donated the entire reward to a non-profit organization that provides free education to disadvantaged children in India.
