The man charged with setting fire to Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro's mansion has a history of mental illness and was treated at a psychiatric hospital. The fire caused significant damage and forced Shapiro and his family to evacuate during the Jewish holiday of Passover. Authorities are still investigating the motive behind the arson. The suspect, Cody Balmer, was arrested and allegedly confessed to harboring hatred towards Governor Shapiro. Balmer's family has stated that he has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
