Roaring engines filled the air as Formula One fans flocked to the recent Bahrain Grand Prix, the first race of the season in the Middle East. The race, now in its 21st year, marked the beginning of the season in the Mideast, with races also scheduled in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi. Despite past scrutiny, the race and its preparations saw no major disruptions, and locals and visitors enjoyed the experience.
