Lebanon has banned Disney's 'Snow White' remake from screening in the country due to the film's star, Gal Gadot, being Israeli and an activist for her country. The decision was made by Lebanon's Interior Minister at the request of a film and media watchdog. This is another setback for the film, which had a poor opening weekend and dropped out of the No. 1 spot in its second weekend. Gadot, who played the evil queen in the film, has become a prominent activist for Israel following a recent Hamas terror attack and the rise of antisemitism globally.
