Scientists using the James Webb Space Telescope have found the strongest evidence yet of possible life on an alien planet. They detected the chemical fingerprints of gases produced by biological processes on Earth in the atmosphere of the planet named K2-18 b. While this suggests the presence of microbial life, more observations are needed to confirm the findings.
