Miriam Yarimi, the driver accused of causing a fatal crash in Brooklyn that killed a Jewish mother and her two children, pleaded not guilty during her arraignment. Prosecutors allege that Yarimi was speeding and ran a red light before hitting an Uber and striking the family. Yarimi, who has a history of traffic violations, appeared in court for the first time this week and remains in custody. A four-year-old son from the Saada family is still hospitalized with serious injuries.
