Russia and Qatar have signed a 2 billion euro investment deal, with each country contributing 1 billion euros to a joint investment fund. The agreement aims to expand the investment platform with Qatar and attract more Qatari investment money into various projects in Russia. The deal will focus on investment in technology, healthcare, minerals, and other sectors of mutual interest. This agreement comes after the two countries launched a $4 billion joint venture in 2014.
