Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman al-Saud, the son of King Salman, visited Iran, marking the first visit by a senior Saudi royal to the country in decades. During the visit, al-Saud met with Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and will also meet with Iran's chief of staff of Armed Forces. The two will discuss defense relations, regional cooperation, peace and stability, and combating terrorism. The meeting comes as Iran and the United States renew talks on Iran's nuclear program.
