Two female combat soldiers serving in the 414th Battalion, Border Protection Corps, were seriously wounded in an incident in the Gaza Strip. CWO G'haleb Sliman Alnasasra was killed in the incident. The soldiers were conducting an administrative operation near the IDF's stronghold when they discovered a tunnel near the border fence. Hamas likely ambushed the forces, firing an RPG at a vehicle and attacking the rescue team with an explosive device.
