Iranian foreign minister Abbas Araghchi is set to visit China on Tuesday ahead of a third round of nuclear talks between Iran and the United States. The visit to China, a signatory to the 2015 nuclear agreement, was announced by the Iranian foreign ministry. China is Iran's largest commercial partner and main buyer of its oil, with Tehran still under US sanctions. In 2021, Tehran and Beijing signed a comprehensive 25-year strategic agreement.
