Israeli spy chief hands court scathing rebuke of Netanyahu bid to...

The head of Israel's domestic intelligence service, Ronen Bar, has submitted an affidavit to the Supreme Court claiming that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's attempt to dismiss him was prompted by his refusal to fulfill requests that included spying on Israeli protesters and disrupting Netanyahu's corruption trial. Netanyahu's office plans to refute Bar's affidavit, which it calls 'false'. The Supreme Court has yet to rule on Bar's dismissal case.
