This comes after a new cooperation agreement was signed between Putin and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian during Pezeshkian's visit to Moscow. The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in politics, security, trade, transportation, and energy. The signing of the law comes at a time when Iran is facing increased Western sanctions due to its uranium enrichment and nuclear weapons development efforts.
