The Royal Navy's flagship HMS Prince of Wales is set to sail to the Indo-Pacific as part of an international Carrier Strike Group, sending a 'powerful message' of the UK's naval and air power. The eight-month deployment will involve exercises, operations, and visits with 40 countries across multiple regions. The deployment aims to support key trade routes, demonstrate credible deterrence, and reinforce the UK's commitment to the Indo-Pacific. The Carrier Strike Group will consist of various warships, frigates, helicopters, and drones, and will be joined by 18 UK F-35B jets during the deployment.
