Police forces in Netanyahu discovered an endangered ring-tailed lemur being held in a private apartment, along with other wild animals and suspected drugs. The lemur was found in isolation and in poor medical condition. The director of the Nature and Parks Authority's Captive Wild Animal Department emphasized the need for stronger punishment to deter illegal captivity of wild animals.
