A disagreement broke out in a Cabinet meeting over whether to restart the distribution of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Defense Minister Israel Katz promised that the aid will be distributed by IDF soldiers or American companies, while IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir stated that IDF soldiers will not distribute humanitarian aid. Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich criticized Zamir and left the meeting. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that a decision on the matter will be made Thursday during a Cabinet meeting.
