Yale University has derecognized its Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter, Yalies4Palestine, after the group established an encampment on campus. The university cited violations of its policies and disturbing antisemitic conduct as reasons for the decision. The encampment was disbanded after less than four hours, and the group promised to protest an Israeli official's visit to New Haven. Yale has stated that the student agitators will face immediate disciplinary action.
