The wildfires in central Israel, the coastal plains, and the Jerusalem area are now contained, but firefighters are still working to extinguish the flames. School buses and educational institutions will operate as usual. An estimated 10,000 dunam in the Judea Region were burned. JNF-KKL employees and foresters are working to prevent the flames from spreading and create a buffer zone.
