Chairman Naftali Bennett of the Jewish Home party said, Sunday afternoon, “The state of Israel needs stability, not elections.”
Referring to talk of elections prompted by a disagreement between Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Treasurer Moshe Kahlon over the end of the Israel Broadcasting Authority and the start of a new public broadcasting corporation, the education minister said, “We have a good national government, and I call on all the elements of the government, first and foremost the prime minister, not to take the state to elections because of the corporation.”
