Coronavirus crisis manager: We are already a red zone

In an interview with i24NEWS, coronavirus crisis manager Professor Salman Zarka explained that the decision to discontinue the list of red zones was made because Israel itself has become a ‘red zone’.
“Relative to what is happening abroad, unfortunately Israel is already a red zone. If we are red ourselves, there is no reason not to allow our people to fly to another red country. ‘
He added: “We believe there will be 20,000, 30,000, even 40,000 new cases per day, and for that reason we believe we are already red.”
