Former Shin Bet chief: This feels like a wave of terrorist attacks

Former Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) chief Yaakov Perry commented &#111n the terrorist attack in Jerusalem in an interview with Galei Tzahal (Army Radio).
“It is very difficult to predict whether it is a wave or a single attack, but the last few days have hinted at a wave of terrorist attacks. There is a very tense unrest in Judea and Samaria and Hamas’ growing efforts to inflame the region, with an emphasis &#111n Jerusalem,” said Perry, who expressed support for placing magnetometers &#111n the Temple Mount.
“They are a desirable and necessary thing. If this measure had existed at the entrances to the Western Wall, it might have been possible to prevent the terrorist, who entered the plaza with his weapon today, from entering,” he said.
