
Health Minister Yuli Edelstein on Wednesday said there were not enough Israelis already vaccinated to allow Purim celebrations to be held without caution.
In a post on his twitter feed, the minister called on the public to avoid parties and crowded religious events.
“Celebrate Purim at home,” Edelstein said.
