Ultra-Orthodox Jews, as well as Israeli soldiers, visited Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, in Jerusalem on January 23, 2022. The museum commemorates the genocide of six million Jews by the Nazi regime during World War II. International Holocaust Remembrance Day will be observed on January 27, which marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp in 1945.
