Ultra-Orthodox Jews, as well as Israeli soldiers, visited Yad Vashem, the World Holocaust Remembrance Center, in Jerusalem on January 23, 2022. The museum commemorates the genocide of 6 million Jews by the Nazi regime during World War II. International Holocaust Remembrance Day will be observed on January 27, which marks the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration and extermination camp in 1945.
