Israel may allow entry of vaccinated Russian tourists

According to a report on Galei Tzahal, Israel is considering the possibility of allowing Russian tourists into the country if they are vaccinated against coronavirus, even though the Health Ministry does not recognize the Sputnik vaccine as sufficiently effective.

The question was raised during the state visit of Foreign Minister Yair Lapid to Moscow and the importance of the issue was stressed by the Russians. Lapid was accompanied on his trip by Tourism Minister Yoel Razvozov, who was charged with advancing the issue.
