Israeli credit card expenses break new records in August

According to data from Automatic Banking Services, the director of the national credit card payment system, the Israeli public continued to break new records in credit card expenses in August 2021.

Most of the increase was recorded in expenses on credit cards and purchases without presenting a card (online), and in cash withdrawals from ATMs, a moderate increase was recorded in the past month.

In August 2021, Israelis’ spending on credit cards increased by 15.16% in credit card spending compared to August 2020.
