Kahlon: I'm responsible that no IBA worker is abandoned

Minister of Finance Moshe Kahlon said, Sunday, “I promise to take care of the [matters of] the workers [of the Israel Broadcasting Authority].”

Referring to the coalition crisis over the new public broadcasting corporation during a news conference with Education Minister Naftali Bennett and Secretary-General Yaffa Ben David of the Histadrut Hamorim teachers union on an agreement they signed, the treasurer said, “I am responsible that no employee will be abandoned. Saying the decision to close the IBA and dismiss the employees took place before he took the position, Kahlon explained, “The previous government did what it did and threw them at me. I’m telling you – we will deal with these people in the best possible way.”
