Defense Minister Avigdor Liberman is scheduled to take off Monday night for Washington, DC. He will meet with Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of Defense James Mattis and Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, among others.
Liberman said at a meeting with Defense Secretary Mattis in Munich two weeks ago, he was pleased to find a true friend who is committed to Israel’s security and at Tuesday’s meeting he intends to continue to discuss the security challenges shared by the US and Israel in the Middle East, including Iran, Syria, Lebanon, among other issues.
