MK Israel Katz (Likud) commented on the planned special meeting of the Knesset despite the Knesset still being at recess, saying “The current government has lost its majority and is holding onto its power in an undemocratic fashion. I will demand of the Prime Minister to either resign and allow Netanyahu to form a government in the current Knesset, or to set a mutually acceptable date to hold elections.”
