Minister Katz plans 'facelift' for Likud

Minister Israel Katz, who also serves as chairman of the Likud secretariat, plans to hold a “facelift” in the party and introduce “new blood” into it, Israel Hayom learned.

According to the report, the outgoing finance minister plans to convene the party secretariat soon and announce a census. This is in order to lead a process of renewing the face of the former ruling party and refreshing its ranks. As part of the census, new functionaries will enter the party, new figures will be elected to positions in the party’s institutions, and Likud members will be allowed to be elected to the branches.
