IDF to test warning sirens in southern towns on Monday

The military announces it will hold a test of the warning siren systems in a number of communities in southern Israel tomorrow.

The Israel Defense Forces says the test is meant to ensure that the alarm system is working properly.

The alarms will sound in the town of Bnei Netzarim at 9:30 a.m. and in Naveh at 10:10 a.m. for 30 seconds, and then for 15 seconds in Avshalom at 10:40 a.m., Sde Avraham at 11:10 a.m., Kissufim at 11:50 a.m., Kfar Maimon at 12:40 p.m., Zru’a at 1:20 p.m., Or Haner at 2 p.m. and Erez at 2:30 p.m.

In the case of an actual attack, the sirens will sound twice, according to the IDF.
