Head of the General Authority of Civil Affairs of the Palestinian Authority Hussein al-Sheikh confirmed on his Twitter account that the PA had refused Israel’s request to conduct a joint investigation into the death of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Aqlah.
He added that the authority would conduct its own investigation and update Qatar, the US and other relevant parties on its results.
