The organizers of a parade to commemorate the reunification of Jerusalem and the Israel National Police have reached an agreement to hold the parade this coming Tuesday.
The parade will march from Haneviim Street through Sultan Suleiman Street to the Nablus Gate, where, in the gate plaza, there will be a public dance with Israeli flags. From there, the marchers will continue to the IDF Square through the Jaffa Gate and enter the Western Wall, partly through the Muslim Quarter and partly through the Jewish Quarter (for safety reasons and to prevent overcrowding).
The organizers of the parade said, “We thank the INP, the Commissioner and the Commander of the Jerusalem District for their cooperation and are happy that Israeli flags will be hoisted with national pride on the streets of the Old City”
We call on all Israeli citizens to join us this coming Tuesday, carrying their flags, to celebrate our people’s heroism, Jerusalem, and Israel.”
