Police: Brooklyn tombstone collapse not vandalism

The New York City police department announced on Sunday that there was no evidence that 40 tombstones that were found broken in the Brooklyn Jewish cemetery were toppled as a result of vandalism.

They said it was due to the natural erosion of soil and lack of maintenance.
