Police Commissioner Chief Superintendent Yaakov Shabtai concluded a situation assessment meeting ahead of the series of demonstrations protesting against judicial reform that will take place tomorrow.
During the meeting, the commissioner emphasized that the Israel Police is an apolitical police force that sees the right to protest as a cornerstone in a democratic country, but at the same time, the commissioner noted that the Israel Police will have zero tolerance for cases of violence, damage to infrastructure and symbols of government, and harm to police officers.
