Prague synagogue receives two new Torah scrolls

A synagogue in Prague from the Middle Ages received yesterday two new Torah scrolls, the first to be received there since World War II.

The scrolls were funded by contributions given to the Prague Jewish community. They were written in Israel and were received in the synagogue in a special ceremony which included the writing of the last letters by guests and members of the community.
