Culture and Sports Minister Miri Regev (Likud) said on Wednesday evening she supports the postponement of the launch of the new Israeli public broadcasting corporation, Kan, in order to enable the rehabilitation of the Israel Broadcasting Authority (IBA).
“I was pleased to hear the Prime Minister’s statement that the establishment of the corporation was a mistake. As he said, mistakes need to be corrected, certainly if they come at the expense of the taxpayer. It needs to be done here and now,” said Regev.
