
The official value of the shekel rose an average of .018 percent on Monday, in mixed trading against the featured currencies on the Bank of Israel’s foreign-exchange list.
The United States dollar was fixed at NIS 3.679, down .379 percent from Friday, while the Euro rose .345 percent to 3.897 shekels and the pound sterling was set at 4.5161 shekels, up .011 percent. The volatile Egyptian lira plunged 2.407 percent.
