Sources: Likud minister held talks with Ramallah over PM support in elections

Palestinian sources have revealed that a minister from Likud held talks with officials in Ramallah over potentially supporting Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in upcoming Israeli elections.

According to sources, Druze politician Fateen Mulla, who currently serves as the deputy minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, spoke with Palestinian Authority officials over possible support in an effort to encourage Israeli-Arabs to vote for Likud.

The talks were held in light of growing Palestinian fear of hawkish right-wing leaders Gideon Saar and Naftali Bennett, who appeared to have formed a front against Netanyahu.
