A bill to apply Israeli sovereignty over the eastern Jerusalem suburb of Maaleh Adumim will not come up for discussion on Tuesday by the Ministerial Committee for Legislation. At the request of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, the discussion has been postponed until Sunday.
Netanyahu asked on Monday that the discussion be postponed three months, but the Jewish Home party made it clear that it agrees to delay dealing with the issue only a few days.
