Knesset Speaker Yuli-Yoel Edelstein has rejected the attempt of Meretz party chairwoman Zahava Galon to put a resolution to dissolve the Knesset on the agenda.
Galon announced her intention of submitting the resolution on Saturday night amid talks of a coalition crisis that was sparked by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s change of mind on support for the new public broadcasting corporation at the expense of the Israel Broadcasting Authority.
