Third confirmed monkeypox case in Israel

The Health Ministry has been informed of a third confirmed case of monkeypox in Israel.
The latest case is that of a 34-year-old man who is currently hospitalized in Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv. His symptoms strongly suggested the disease, which was confirmed after testing by the Biological Institute.
The man has recently returned from a trip abroad.
The Health Ministry notes that the primary symptoms of monkeypox, a viral disease, are fever, rash, and a swelling of the lymph nodes. Anyone with such symptoms, or anyone who has been in close contact with such a person, is asked to contact his doctor.
