The first vaccination station opened this morning (Monday) at the Mahane Yehuda market in Jerusalem.
According to Tali Friedman, chairman of the Mahane Yehuda Market Merchants’ Committee, “For the merchants, most of whom leave their homes before sunrise and return home exhausted late in the evening, placing a vaccine mobile in the market is good news. Thank you to the Mayor of Jerusalem, Moshe Lion, who answered our request and ordered the immediate opening of the station.”
“In addition to merchants, everyone visiting the market can get vaccinated and I call on everyone to come to the best market in Israel and just before they enter it and enjoy an amazing experience, get vaccinated and protect the health of themselves, their families and environment. Everyone who gets vaccinated will get a baked good from Haba Bakery or a jahanun from Jahanun Bar,” she said.
